5 Amazing Uses For Garlic

Garlic is revered for its powerful antibiotic properties that help it to strengthen the immune system. Here are 5 other ways you could be using garlic.

1. Acne
Because of the natural antibacterial effects of garlic, when the cloves are held over the top of acne spots several times a day, acne will disappear.

2. Athlete’s foot
Garlic also has anti-fungal properties that can fight off fungal infections such as athlete’s foot. Do this by putting garlic powder or crushed garlic into warm water and let your feet soak for 20 minutes. You can also crush garlic and place it in your socks over night. Then wear those socks the next day. Repeat this for 6 days.

3. Disinfectant & Pesticide
You can prepare a homemade disinfectant by mixing crushed garlic, vinegar, and lemon juice together. The garlic disinfects surfaces, while the vinegar decals, and the lemon provides a fresh smell.

Garlic can also be used to prevent pests from destroying your garden. A natural pesticide can be made using garlic, water, mineral oil, and soap.

4. Ear infection
Garlic has been used since ancient times to effectively relieve ear infections. Be sure only to use it on external surfaces though.

5. Nail strengthener
Do your nails break easily or are they prone to cracking? Thin pieces of chopped garlic can be added to a clear nail polish. After the garlic has been mixed with the nail polish for one week, it can be painted on to strengthen your nails.
