The Best Natural Remedies To Get Rid Of Circles Under Your Eyes And Look Like A Supermodel!


We often have black rings under our eyes from lack of sleep. It can also be the result of an unhealthy diet, consuming too much alcohol, or smoking cigarettes, along with being genetic.

Here are some natural treatments to get rid of black circles under your eyes:

Sliced Potatoes

This is a cheap and effective treatment. Raw potatoes help in reducing puffiness and lighten dark eye circles. They have a high enzyme content which works as an anti-inflammatory.
  • Get a few potatoes and cool them down in the fridge for a few hours. Wash the potatoes then cut them into pieces.
  • Place the slices over your eyes for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove and put some cold water over your eyes.
Sliced Cucumber

You have probably heard about this from your mother or grandma. The internet has plenty of images illustrating a woman lying back with cucumber pieces over her eyes. It’s a technique that really does work, since a cucumber is mainly water and the cucumber will make your blood vessels constrict and lower the puffiness. Try this:
  • Get a cucumber from the fridge and cut a few pieces, not too thick and not too thin.
  • Place them over your eyes for 10 minutes.
  • Remove and wash your eyes carefully.
Ice Cubes

This is effective but cold. It also should just be done for a short period of time, and should be avoided completely if you are struggling with a sinus infection.
  • Wrap 2 ice cubes in 2 light cloths and carefully place over your eyes.
  • Rub them gently around your eyes, too.
  • Do this for a few minutes or as long as you can bear.
  • Watch the puffiness and blackness disappear.
Tea circles

This is another trick that may well have originated from your mom or grandmother. Tea circles have been used for centuries to ease stress from eyes. Soak the tea circles in warm water then store them in the fridge for twenty minutes. Place them over your eyes for about ten minutes and wash with cold water. Chamomile is especially helpful however you can use any kind of teabag.

Milk

Cleopatra was onto something when she used to bathe in milk for pure, white, soft and smooth skin. You do not need to bathe in it though, just soak some cotton wool in cold milk.
  • Place the cotton wool balls over your eyes. You can keep adding milk if necessary.
  • Twenty minutes of this and your eyes will be fresh, sparkling and without puffiness or dark circles.
Egg white
  • Separate the egg white from the yolk and mix the egg white with a fork. Try and make it quite hard, almost like meringue but without the sugar.
  • Apply under your eyes for about twenty minutes. You will feel it harden as it dries, but this is good.
  • Rinse and be amazed at the results. Repeat as often as you like.
Almond Oil

If your dark rings persist, try using almond oil. Massage it gently into the skin under your eyes in the morning and at night. Your skin will improve, puffiness should disappear, and your black rings will definitely begin to fade.

Tomato Juice And Lemon Juice

A little tomato juice, organic if possible, with a few drops of lemon juice, soaked in cotton wool, on and over your eye – brilliant!

General Eye Health

It is also a good idea to limit your time in front of a computer screen or tv. You may wish to seek advice from an eye doctor in case you suspect you are straining your eyes, or wearing the wrong glasses.
