5 Things That Cause Your Stomach To Bloat And How To Get Rid Of It!


A lot of people suffer from bloated stomach that looks like an enormous balloon that is going to explode. Not to mention that it is followed by gasses and pain. Some of those people have bloated stomach only after eating heavily but for others it is part of their everyday life.

What actually causes bloated stomach?

Not enough water intake 
Dehydration can cause different health problems, including bloated stomach. A great consumption of coffee and alcohol increases the problem. You are supposed to drink from 6 to 8 glasses of water in a day. When the body has not enough water, it uses the liquids from the tissues which may cause water retention and bloated belly. That’s why it is important to drink more water.

Constipation 
This is an unpleasant problem that indicates that you need to consume more food that is rich in fiber. Constipation will cause the gasses to be trapped in your body and in your stomach and in that way make it bloated. Avoid white bread and consume whole grain bread instead. Also consume berries and shakes.

Chronic stress 
Although it sounds unreal, stress can really cause bloating. That’s because when you are under stress, your digestion system does not work properly. If the digestion system does not work properly it can cause constipation and stomach ache and all of these can cause bloated stomach. That’s why it is important to try and relax and free yourself from negative feelings.

Eating too quickly 
The food that is not chewed enough is more difficult to absorb which can cause bloated stomach. Try to take smaller bites and chew them well.

Carbohydrates 
A lot of carbohydrates in your diet may cause bloating as well. Consume more low-carb foods and more fruits and vegetables. Stop consuming sugars and alcohol.
