Press These 2 Points near Your Hips to Eliminate Lower Back Pain, Hip Pain, Leg Pain, Sciatica, and more

Pain in the lower back is a usual issue to many people. The factors that can cause this pain may vary, from strained back muscle, twisting the wrong way, lifting a heavy object, to simply genetics. The intensity of the pain can be mild to intense. Usually, there is a sensation of burning or tingling in one or both legs.

Using medications, usually painkillers, to treat this issue, is not a permanent solution, as it only reduces the intensity of the pain. People who suffer from this problem mostly rely on alternative medicine in order to find a solution.

According to WebMD, acupuncture – a medical practice that dates back to ancient China, is the best way to treat this problem. It is completely natural, enables wellness and relaxation, and improves the body condition into regaining its health and balance.

Acupuncture is a treatment done by applying pressure, or massaging specific pressure points on the body. There are a lot of such pressing points on the body which have an effect upon specific areas, and by pressing them they relieve them from pain.

Here, we are going to focus on the acupuncture points whose target is reducing lower back pain.

Acupuncture Points for Lower Back Pain Relief
There are 2 such points: B48 and GB30, as illustrated on the image below.
When massaging the B48 point, you can reduce sciatica, hip pain, and pain in the sacral area.

You have to be careful when massaging this point, because people who suffer from low back pain can have this area more sensitive and already inflamed.
In the case of massaging the second point, GB30, you can reduce pain in the lower back, hip, buttocks, sciatica, hip joint, and muscle spasms.

Improving other conditions
Massaging the former point can have effects into the treatment of diarrhea and diabetes, while GB30 can act upon leg pain and hemiplegia (complete paralysis of half of the body).

Additional activities to treat lower back pain
There are other methods to treat lower back pain, for example, massaging the painful area with ice, walking and moving as to avoid sitting in order to prevent the muscles from spasms and tightening. Taking up some special physical exercises that focus on strengthening the muscles of the low back can be, also, helpful in reducing the pain.

Another option to prevent pain, is not to wear high heels that are very high because it can lead to bad body posture which will affect the lower back and cause pain. Last, pain can be reduced by maintaining a normal body weight, and trying not to vary extremely.

Along with all these methods, it is recommended to do massage on the sore area, and to do regular exercises as to make significant improvement into the condition. Being persistent and regular into everything you do will bring you positive results.
